John Thomas Montgomery Scholarship in Mathematics honoring Professor Richard R. Otter
The purpose of the foundation of this scholarship is to establish a benefaction to assist needy and worthy students in attending the University. The selection of students for the scholarship is to be confined to those who have shown outstanding performance in high school or at the University, with special consideration being given to academic achievement, character, qualities of leadership, and financial need. Preference shall be given to students majoring in Mathematics. This scholarship is made possible by the generosity of the late John Thomas Montgomery.
