1) Tenured/Tenure-track faculty position:
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, is accepting applications for an assistant, associate, or full professor position in mathematics, which is expected to be filled this year. We are seeking applicants whose research area is Algebra, broadly construed, but we encourage strong candidates in all areas of research to apply.
Position description:
Position duties include conducting research, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, and engaging in service. The teaching load in the Department of Mathematics is competitive. Qualifications:

2) Endowed Senior Chair in Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, is accepting applications for an endowed senior chair in Mathematics, which is expected to be filled this year.
Position description:
The successful candidate for this position will be an internationally recognized scholar of mathematics with an outstanding record of success. We are seeking exceptionally strong candidates in all areas of research to apply. The successful candidate should have a research program that is driving breakthroughs and advances in their area, and should be a leader in furthering the research, teaching, and service missions of the Department of Mathematics and the University of Notre Dame.

3) Postdoctoral Research Associate
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, invites applications for a number of Postdoctoral Research Associate positions, which are expected to be filled this year. Candidates in any area compatible with the research interests of the department will be considered. Position duties include conducting research and teaching courses. The teaching load and salary will be competitive with other AMS Group I universities.
The position is for a term of three years starting summer 2027. The Department also anticipates having several positions with a term of one year starting summer 2027, with a possible renewal for a second year.
