Program Technology Requirements

You will need the following technology for this program; much of the software is free and you will want to have them installed and/or set up before the course begins!

  • Software

    • Zoom [link]
      • This is the official video and audio conferencing system for the University of Notre Dame
    • Canvas LMS [link]
      • The Canvas Learning Management System is used for online courses/programs at Notre Dame.
    • Panopto [link]
      • You will find and watch the course recordings with this tool. 
    • Google Calendar [link]
      • The official calendaring system for the University of Notre Dame. It allows you to coordinate meetings, schedule events, and share your calendar with others.
    • Google Drive [link]
      • This tool allows you to share, store, and collaborate on files. 


  • Computers and Hardware
    • You will need a computer with a camera, a microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space for live sessions.
    • Visit the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore to purchase a personal computer and/or other devices. Depending on your affiliation, you may be eligible for discounts on computers or other technology purchases.
