Congratulations to senior Katie Gallagher, who has been named one of the University's two 2019 Marshall Scholars. Gallagher, from Naperville, Illinois, is an honors mathematics and music major. She is co-founder and co-president of the Notre Dame Women in Math Group, and has served as concertmaster and principal viola for the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra. Off campus she volunteers as a sectional coach for the South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestras. More....
