Our 5th year graduate student Carlos Misael Madrid Padilla (whose advisor is Daren Wang in ACMS) has been named the winner of the 2024 Eli J. and Helen Shaheen Graduate School Award in Science. The Shaheen Awards recognize one outstanding doctoral student every year from each of the four divisions of the Graduate School: Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, and Engineering.
