Title:  Coding Theory

Abstract:  This talk will introduce the  mathematical objects of interest in coding theory and then focus on the most used codes  in our daily life and their implementation: Reed-Solomon codes, convolutional codes and low-density parity-check codes.

The talk will only assume basic knowledge of linear algebra and finite fields.
