  • In June 2011 I spoke at "Loop spaces, groups, and algebras" a conference at Centre International de Recontres Mathematiques (CIRM), Marseille, France.  I spoke on my joint project with Owen Gwilliam of Northwestern, "Topological quantum mechanics and the A genus." I had previously spoken on this project in the topology seminar at UIUC, an AMS sectional meeting, Berkeley, and here at Notre Dame in the Felix Klein seminar.
  • In June 2010 I received a NSF Junior Oberwolfach Fellowship to attend "Geometry, Quantum Fields, and Strings: Categorical Aspects" at the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO), Germany.
  • August 2-4, 2011 I organized (with Kevin Costello and Owen Gwilliam, both of Northwestern) a workshop on Chiral Differential Operators.  The conference brought together mathematicians from Notre Dame, Northwestern, MIT, Harvard and Boston University.
