Research Interests:

My research is in Riemannian geometry. More precisely, I am interested in the interaction between the geometry and topology of Riemannian manifolds. One direction of my research is to study the topology of positively curved Riemannian manifolds which admit isometric actions by a torus or an elementary abelian group of sufficiently large rank. The second direction is to consider this interaction in the context of singular Riemennian foliations which generalize the notion of isometric group actions.

Selected Publications:

  • Obstructions to free actions on Bazaikin spaces. Transformation Groups, to appear, arXiv:1905.11770.
  • Positive curvature and finite abelian symmetry (with L. Kennard and C. Searle). https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.13345
  • On the topology of leaves of singular Riemannian foliations (with M. Radeschi). https://arxiv.org/abs/2203.15910
