Almgren's Bi-Lipschitz embedding
Abstract: Almgren's bi-Lipschitz embedding is the core tool to understanding the extrinsic theory for Q-valued functions. First, I will discuss Almgren's original motivation around the regularity theory for codimension k minimizing currents. Then I will go through an introduction to the space of unordered Q tuples. I will briefly highlight the differences between the intrinsic and extrinsic theory before stating and proving the embedding.
