Will give a Cluster Algebras and Lie Theory Seminar entitled:
Cartier duality and Mittag-Leffler modules

Abstract: One of the striking features of the theory of Hopf algebras is duality: given a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra A over a field, its linear dual A* is also a Hopf algebra. If A is commutative and cocommutative, then A and A* are rings of functions on Cartier dual finite group schemes over a point, and their representation theory is related by a Fourier transform. We consider what can be said when our group schemes are no longer finite and our base is no longer a point. The answer comes from duality of Mittag-Leffler modules, a suitable extension of the usual finite-dimensional linear duality. This is joint work with Dima Arinkin.
