Will give a Model Theory Seminar entitled:
Approximate equivalence relations
Abstract: This is an introductory talk about Hrushovski's paper "Approximate Equivalence Relations" (appearing in Vol. 3, no. 2, in the journal Model Theory, 2024), which we will be looking at in the seminar. Results on approximate subgroups are generalized to approximate equivalence relations. But there are other thematically related results.
