Title: Tame topological dynamics
Abstract: I will discuss tame compactifications and topological dynamics, such as a definable action of a definable group on a compact space, motivated by Newelski's work. I will discuss amenability and extreme amenability in this context, as well as the analysis of specific examples such as SL(2,R) (as a semialgebraic group).
