Research Interests
My research interests are in di fferential geometry. Specifically, I work in Poisson geometry, and the related mechanics and physics problems.
In particular, I am interested in a class of Poisson manifolds, called log symplectic manifolds, which are generically symplectic but degenerate along a hypersurface. Together with my collaborators, I have studied the symplectic groupoids and the toric symmetries of log symplectic manifolds.
